Shell technical partnership with Ducati
The MotoGP World Championship is followed by millions of dedicated fans every year. Shell’s innovation and development in MotoGP has co-engineered Ducati Corse to more than 30 race victories through a close technical partnership.
Shell and Ducati have been competing together in MotoGP since 2003, scoring a podium finish on the team’s debut and winning the 2007 riders’ teams’ and constructors’ championships. In 2015 the story continues with both Ducati Corse and Pramac Racing.
Ducati has also been a key ingredient in the Superbike World Championship since it began in 1988. The 2014 season marked the return of a winning partnership that saw Shell partner Ducati to six World Superbike Riders’ Championship titles and nine World Superbike Manufacturers’ titles, in a relationship that dates back to 1999.

The technical partnership with Ducati
Shell uses what it learns from the racetrack to develop its Shell V-Power road fuels and Shell Advance lubricants so that bikers all over the world can benefit from the cutting-edge technology developed on the track.
The results have been constant throughout the relationship, with Shell’s continued goal to provide Ducati with 100% reliability, whilst optimizing the power output from the bike.
